The Spark
Aleksandra — Sasha — began her career in the beauty industry in 2016 with a clear vision: bring the precision, product quality, and genuine care of European beauty standards to her community. While other salons were optimizing for volume, she was studying technique. While others were cutting appointment times, she was extending them. She believed that results built on integrity would always outlast results built on speed — and that clients would feel the difference.
That philosophy attracted a loyal following from the beginning. Word spread not through advertising, but through the women who walked out of her studio and were asked, “Who does your lashes?”
Building the Foundation
In 2017, Sasha Beauty opened its doors in Alexandria, Virginia. From the start, the approach was distinctive: European products, meticulous technique, and a commitment to lash health that most salons simply didn’t prioritize. Sasha invested in her own education continuously — training with masters across the industry, refining her craft, and eventually earning the title of US Champion for Eyelash Extensions.
That credential isn’t just an award. It’s a reflection of the standard she set for herself and, eventually, for every specialist she trained. Through Sasha’s professional academy, hundreds of beauty professionals across the DMV area have learned the techniques that define our work — the same techniques applied to every client who books with us today.
The Evolution
Since 2024, the salon has grown significantly — in size, in expertise, and in vision. What began as a salon has evolved into a full-service med spa, with a team that has expanded to 20 staff members and a service menu designed to meet a much wider range of client needs. Today, that includes lash extensions and lamination, manicure and pedicure, skincare, and laser hair removal.
That growth has always been rooted in expertise. Sasha, a U.S. Champion in eyelash extensions, helped set the standard from the beginning: a commitment to precision, advanced technique, and results clients can trust. As our client base grew and their expectations expanded, so did we.
Our manicure services evolved to include Russian technique and European hard gel systems — with a service warranty to back them up. Skincare grew from basic facials into a full medical-grade treatment menu. And when the technology became available to deliver the kind of lasting results our clients were asking for, we invested in it.
The Clarity II laser system — the 2026 model from Cynosure Lutronic — represents one of the most significant steps in that evolution. Safe for all skin types, equipped with cryo-cooling technology, and capable of treating everything from hair removal to pigmented lesions and skin rejuvenation, it is the kind of technology most spas do not invest in. We did, because our clients deserve treatments that actually work.

Over eight years, Sasha Beauty has never grown through gimmicks or aggressive marketing. It has grown because the results speak for themselves — and because clients who feel genuinely cared for come back, and bring the people they love with them.
Today, our salon is recognized as a leader in the field of eyelash extensions — chosen and trusted by clients who value exceptional quality, consistency, and expertise. That reputation has been built through real results, high standards, and years of dedicated work.
Our team now includes 17+ European-trained specialists, each selected and trained to uphold the standards Sasha established from day one. We’ve earned more than 1,000 five-star Google reviews — not by asking every client to leave one, but by doing work that makes people want to. The warranty we offer on our nail services exists because we are that confident in what we do.
Looking Ahead
Sasha Beauty is now Alexandria’s destination for both classic beauty services and advanced aesthetic treatments — a place where you can book a Russian manicure and a laser hair removal session in the same afternoon, with the same level of expertise applied to both.
